Day 1 (3-4 Hours)
What to expect?
-Completing questionnaires about yourself (e.g., health, medical history, life experiences, mood)
-Brief tests of memory, mental functioning, and reading ability
-Nerve function test in which electric pulses are delivered to your ankle, brief neurological exam
-Body measurements (e.g., blood pressure, height, weight, waist & hip circumference)
-Finger stick blood draw for collecting lipid levels, blood glucose, and stress hormone information
-Providing addresses of all the places you have lived to help track your lifetime exposure to environmental toxins
-1:1 interview about your life experiences
-Saliva collection demonstration and teaching

Where to go?
Our laboratory is located on the third floor of the OU Schusterman Center Administrative Building (Room 3G01; 4502 E 41st St, Tulsa, OK 74135). Please review the attached maps and directions and have them available on the day of your appointment. Also, please don’t hesitate to call if you encounter difficulty navigating the OU-Tulsa campus; a researcher will happily direct you to parking and our lab.
